Part of an early morning sauna session recorded at the grrrreat Urge Bar in Auckland, New Zealand in Feb 2009 as part of the city's Hero Festival. The actual set goes for nearly 8 hours, so here's the 2 thirty till 3-something in the wee (!) hours of the morning. The Urge is a sexy & sexual, intimate, friendly, hirsute, male only venue where arms and minds are wide open. They don't suffer the over policing we have in Oz, so it feels a great level of liberty we no longer have in our country. Yeah, I truly love this bar! The workers and punters are a bunch of total accommodating woofers, it's a pleasure to play and play there.
This is a pretty deep, damp and steamy set but put still purrs along - someone on the night called it "bathhouse sling"... we can all roll with that.

DJ bios are usually pretty indulgent affairs. A frustrated/want-to-be musician bangs on about how truly gay/great they are, when what it really comes down to is how much money was spent at the record shop that week. Sydney based dj Seymour has developed his own unique style and forged his own path in the dj / electronic world, beginning in Tasmania in the 1980’s. Seymour has been playing a diverse and eclectic range of sounds with sets ranging from “all over the place" to “anything goes". His sets have also been described as homosexist and" indulgent to listen to without chemical aid" Seymour was born in deep down south in Tasmania. He took to public radio in the early 80’s. Puberty hit and also relocation to South America where he played in a touring percussion band. , Diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Music Disorder, he landed Sydney in the early 90s, getting his first dj residency at The Stronghold, Sydney’s infamous leather lounge. He was embraced by the leather bear community and has never been let go. He has gone on to run Australia’s most eclectic queer music club, Kooky, bow nearly 14 years old. He has played all the local homo dive bars and many major festivals such as Homebake, the Big Day Out, Good Vibrations and the gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras. His studio output includes production and remix duties for such acts as Wolfmother, Silverchair, The Presets, My Robot Friend and Paul Mac. He is regularly spinning at the infamous Trough Faggot Party in Melbourne, and Ken’s at Kensington, Australia’s longest running gay sauna, in Sydney. Seymour has released several “Sauna Sessions” compilation albums which has led to him touring nearly every homo ghetto on the planet, including spinning at Steamworks Toronto, chunk & wotever world in london, Lazy Bear in California, Carnival in Rio, urge in New Zealand and the Melkweg in Amsterdam. The style is best described as "bottom 40, machotech bath house, saunabeat, horizontal dance music". He is available to play at your next bear bust or dungeon wedding. He is single and would make an exotic trophy husbear or fit nicely into your thruple. At least you wont have to fumble around looking for make out music anymore.
